If you, or someone you know, has fought the battle of cancer you will know that it is expensive in more ways than people may think. Yes, the trips to the hospital for treatment, then the treatment itself, the followup appointments, possible surgery, etc. However, until my mom was diagnosed I never thought about all of the expenses of finding ways to support your immune system while going through chemo. Also, wigs are super expensive unless you are fortunate enough to have an organization that will provide one for free. We are blessed to have a local organization in our small town that helps families who are going through chemo. It’s called Cindy’s Fund. I would encourage you to donate if you feel led.
